Description

Plasma therapy is a unique method of facial regeneration using one's own blood, therefore it is referred to as vampire therapy.

  • Its principle is to treat the skin with platelet rich plasma (PRP).
  • Plasma is obtained by centrifugation of one's own blood, which is taken from a vein before the procedure in the same way as when blood is taken by a general practitioner.
  • The application is made by gentle punctures into the area to be treated. Collagen synthesis then takes place in the skin, initiating regenerative processes with an overall rejuvenation of wrinkles.

Suitable regions for treatment are: face, décolleté and hands. There are also good results in hair treatment (hair loss treatment).

Facts

  • No anesthesia or local anesthesia
  • Outpatient procedure
  • Procedure takes up to 30 minutes
  • Recovery within 2 days

The procedure consists of blood take, subsequent centrifugation at 4000 rpm for 4 minutes and the application itself, which lasts 10 - 15 minutes. No anaesthesia or only local anaesthesia is required and the patient can go home after the procedure.

Skin treatment is possible at any age, as the patient's own blood is taken and further processed, it is necessary that the patient does not have anemia or blood clotting disorders.

The treatment can be repeated after 3 - 6 months.

The results are visible in the first weeks, the skin is softer, more elastic and looks younger. Wrinkles can be softened, but not completely removed. The procedure is usually repeated in 3 - 4 sessions. The effect lasts approximately one year.

Bruises and minor swelling may appear after the procedure, which will disappear on their own.

However, since one's own blood is used, complications are rare.

Sun protection is required after the procedure.
